Terms of Service
Effective 2026-04-26
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, booking platform, and chauffeured transportation services provided by Motorcade19 LLC (“Motorcade19,” “we”). By booking a reservation or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
Motorcade19 provides on-demand and pre-scheduled chauffeured ground transportation, including airport transfers, charter service (weddings, galas, prom, concerts, winery tours), and corporate transport, in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and adjacent regions.
2. Reservations and payment
- A reservation is confirmed only after the full fare has been charged successfully via Square. We do not accept deposits or partial payments.
- You authorize Motorcade19 to charge the payment method on file for the full quoted amount, plus any agreed-upon add-ons, gratuity, taxes, and applicable fees disclosed at booking.
- Charter, winery, and corporate trips include a 20% utility fee in lieu of a curbside gratuity. The fee is part of the taxable subtotal and is shown as a separate line on your invoice. Airport trips include a 20% chauffeur gratuity at booking instead. Either way, no tipping is expected at the curb.
- Quotes are valid only for the trip details submitted. Material changes (route, date, vehicle class, passenger count) may require a new quote.
3. Cancellations and refunds
All reservations are non-refundable and no credits are issued. See our full Cancellation Policy for details on no-shows, force majeure, and the limited circumstances in which Motorcade19 will issue a refund.
4. Passenger conduct
Passengers agree to behave lawfully and respectfully. We reserve the right to terminate a trip without refund if any passenger:
- Engages in illegal activity, including possession of unlawful substances.
- Threatens, harasses, or assaults the chauffeur or other passengers.
- Damages the vehicle or its furnishings.
- Smokes or vapes inside the vehicle (all vehicles are non-smoking).
- Exceeds the seating capacity of the booked vehicle.
5. Damage and cleaning
You are responsible for the cost of repair or professional cleaning required as a result of damage caused by you or your party. A cleaning fee of $250 minimum applies to vomit, spilled food/drink, or other significant soiling. Damage in excess of normal wear is billed at cost plus a 15% admin fee.
6. Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol in the vehicle is permitted only by passengers of legal drinking age and only when expressly arranged in advance. Motorcade19 is not responsible for ensuring legal drinking age — that responsibility lies with the passengers and the booking party.
7. Lost items
Motorcade19 is not responsible for items left in the vehicle. We will make reasonable efforts to return found items at the owner’s expense, but cannot guarantee recovery.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motorcade19’s total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount actually paid by you for the reservation in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including missed flights, events, or business opportunities, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Force majeure
Motorcade19 is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents on route, government action, civil unrest, or acts of God.
10. Insurance
Motorcade19 carries the commercial vehicle and liability insurance required by Michigan law. Certificates of insurance are available on request for corporate clients.
11. Intellectual property
The website, marks, logos, photographs, and copy are the property of Motorcade19 LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of Motorcade19 services are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, because Motorcade19 LLC is headquartered in New Buffalo, Michigan. For trips that originate, terminate, or are operated within Indiana, the applicable Indiana livery, for-hire, and transportation network regulations also apply to the operational aspects of that trip. For trips that originate, terminate, or are operated within Illinois — including the City of Chicago and Cook County — the applicable Illinois and local livery, chauffeur licensing, and transportation regulations also apply to the operational aspects of that trip. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer right granted to you by the law of the state in which you reside.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Berrien County, Michigan, under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action against Motorcade19.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
