Cancellation Policy
Effective 2026-04-26
All reservations are non-refundable
Motorcade19 LLC operates on a full-payment, no-deposit model. The full reservation amount is charged at the time of booking. No refunds and no credits are issued for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation, rescheduling, no-shows, late arrivals, flight changes, weather, or change of plans.
Cancellations
If you must cancel a reservation, you may do so by phone or email, but no portion of the fare will be refunded or credited toward a future ride. We do not hold deposits or partial payments — the full amount paid at booking is forfeited upon cancellation.
No-shows and missed pickups
A reservation is considered a no-show if the passenger fails to appear at the confirmed pickup location within the grace period (15 minutes for ground pickups, 45 minutes after wheels-down for airport arrivals). No-shows forfeit the full amount paid. The chauffeur is not obligated to wait beyond the grace period.
Pickup wait time
Our chauffeur will wait at the pickup location for the first 60 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time at no additional charge. After that grace period, additional wait time is billed at $50 per hour, prorated to the nearest 15 minutes, and charged to the card on file. This applies to all pickups — airport arrivals (timed from wheels-down per the flight tracker) and ground pickups (timed from the scheduled pickup time on the reservation) alike. The 15-minute (ground) and 45-minute (airport) no-show grace described above remains in effect; wait-time billing applies only when the passenger does eventually arrive after the 60-minute mark.
Service modifications by Motorcade19
In the rare event Motorcade19 is unable to provide service due to circumstances within our control (vehicle failure, chauffeur unavailability with no replacement), you will receive a full refund of the fare paid for the affected reservation. This is the sole exception to the no-refund policy.
Force majeure
Motorcade19 is not liable, and no refund will be issued, for service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, government action, civil unrest, accidents on route, or acts of God.
State-specific notices
Michigan. Michigan does not impose a general statutory cooling-off period on pre-paid ground-transportation or chauffeured livery services. The Michigan Consumer Protection Act (MCL 445.901 et seq.) requires that material terms — including the no-refund nature of your purchase — be clearly disclosed before payment. By completing checkout you acknowledge you have read and accepted this policy.
Indiana. Indiana does not provide a specific cooling-off period or mandatory refund right for pre-paid transportation services purchased online. The Indiana Deceptive Consumer Sales Act (Ind. Code 24-5-0.5) requires that the no-refund term be disclosed clearly and conspicuously prior to charge, which this policy does.
Illinois. Illinois does not grant a general statutory cancellation or refund right for pre-paid livery, limousine, or chauffeured ground transportation booked online. Under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/), the no-refund policy must be disclosed before purchase, which it is. Trips operated in Cook County or the City of Chicago remain subject to Chicago and state livery regulations on operations, but those rules do not require refunds for passenger-initiated cancellations.
